In 1988 little Michael Wink tried his first time at the turntables. After several Sixties-nighters and weekenders in the Rhine-Ruhr-area in Germany he organized his first "The Man From U.N.K.E.L." Weekender in 1992 near Bonn, where the "in-crowd" annually over the Whitsun weekend gathered around from across Europe. Unkel is legendary and call now "The Two Men from L.I.N.Z." This year will be the 30th anniversary. A short time later bookings from all over Germany and the first foreign inquiries from Rimini, London, Perpignan, Manchester, Antwerp and Milan followed. Because of his excellent taste in music and his DJ performances with passion, humour and energy he become a popular Soul/ Mod and Sixties DJs in Europe. At these days Michael run two Sixties Club Nights. To name first the Monkey Cave 60s Club with all cool styles from the Sixties and with live concerts and second the One Room Paradise Soul & Ska Club.
